Ford’s StreetKa has been named the best second-hand convertible of the last ten years by car insurance policyholders.
Online retailer Carsite.co.uk evaluated customer satisfaction, reliability, depreciation and the running costs associated with the most popular second-hand convertibles to produce a list of the 20 best models.
The StreetKa, which was launched in 2003 with A-list endorsement in the form of Kylie Minogue, came in top, while the Mazda MX5 was a close second.
Third place went to the MINI One convertible, which has also proved a firm favourite with car insurance policyholders in recent years.
“The Ford StreetKa took the top-spot with a strong performance across our used car criteria,” said Carsite’s Alistair Jeff.
Also in the top 20 were the Honda S2000, Renault Megane CC, Peugeot 207 CC, Volkswagen Eos and the Porsche Boxster 987.
