Get motor vehicle liability bond, if you do not want to have liability insurance. Contact a surety company that operate in Alabama state and can prepare for you this bond, the cost of the bond should be $50,000. The company must provide you with vehicle liability bond certificate which you need to carry with you in the car.
Make cash deposit at State Treasurer of Alabama, if you do not like the idea of getting liability insurance or vehicle liability bond. You need to deposit $50,000 and there is a cash deposit bond certificate will be issued to you, keep a copy of the certificate in your car.
Monitor your bond, if get vehicle liability bond or the cash deposit bond instead of liability insurance. You must always have a valid bond that has the required amount of money. Once you withdraw any amount consider to have liability car insurance.
