LV= has announced that it is expanding its presence in Bristol, where its office handles general insurance business including customer service, claims handling and IT.
The firm has enjoyed strong growth recently and is seeking to increase its staff numbers, (presently 500), in the city by recruiting 50 more staff in the first half of the year, with further hires planned for the latter half of 2012.
The majority of new positions fall within the sales and customer services teams, and will involve handling calls regarding car insurance.
LV= HR Director David Smith said it was an exciting time to join the firm, as it enjoys a period of strong growth.
The recruitment drive is the latest of several for LV=, which in the latter half of 2011 sought a further 45 employees at its Brentwood office.
