COMMON STORY LINES:
A person who is found clearly not at fault (admitted by other driver, found in police report, their car was parked, etc.) or whose car is clearly vandalized falls under the coverage of Mercury. Mercury delays the processing by taking too long and by sending the person in circles and he incurs costs while waiting for compensation (rental cars, needing to fix the car, medical costs). He is later not reimbursed for the full costs that are incurred due to the accident (medical, auto repairs, totaled car). Many people mention that after seeing an attorney, legal action against Mercury is too expensive to undertake and will cost more than they stand to gain through a successful lawsuit.
