Motorists Urged to Know Insurance Tips

According to auto insurance experts, the poor economy is not a good reason to skimp on insurance. On the contrary, they argue, Americans should pay more for insurance now more than ever. Recent studies suggest that with unemployment figures still high, more and more car owners are choosing to drop their coverage. Eventually, insurance providers have to raise premiums to better protect policyholders from underinsured and uninsured motorists.

However, there are several options that motorists can consider to save money without letting go of their insurance coverage.

However, it is an unarguable fact that children would eventually need to tread life’s path without parents cheering them from behind or looking over their shoulder as they take their step forward.  Making sure that children are well guided and well protected as they face life’s challenges on their own is the only thing that parents could do.

Getting a car, for instance, is a phase that poses a great challenge and a great pleasure for each teenager. Howeve

Reducing Teen Auto Insurance Rates

You know about teenagers- impulsive, reckless, and exploring, but inexperienced. This is one reason why teenage drivers are unlikely to get welcoming hugs from insurance providers when they come to their office and get a teen auto insurance policy. Insurers prefer car drivers who drive slowly and carefully. Not so slow, of course, because it inconveniences other drivers.

The fact is that insurance companies offer teen auto insurance at much higher rates than insurance for a different age group. Most have no choice. Incidence of accidents among teen drivers is quite high.  However, insurers are open to reducing rates on a case to case basis as long as some conditions are met.

Since most teen drivers have no driving experience, insurance companies will insist teenagers get some drivers training.

Website offers student vehicle insurance tips

Financial website Moneyextra.com has put together a list of car insurance tips that students should follow if they are taking their motor to university with them in September.

Those thinking of taking their car to university with them after receiving their A-level results last week might want to heed the advice of one financial website, which has offered some vehicle insurance tips.

Moneyextra.com said in the Mirror that students could see their auto insurance increase as they move from home to university accommodation, but by being vigilant and making sure their policy is accurate, youngsters could save some money.

The website advises putting the right amount of mileage the student expects to rack up when applying for an auto insurance policy, as a higher figure could increase premiums while giving a lower number could invalidate any claims.

If student halls allow the car to be stored in a garage rather than just on the road then university freshers should look into using the extra security and make sure the auto insurance provider knows about it, according to Moneyextra.com.

It continued: ” Shop around for your car insurance policy and consider paying a higher voluntary excess in the event of a claim.

“Although you pay out more if you claim, your premium can reduce quite considerably if you agree to share more of the risk with your car insurance company.”

A new government-commissioned report published by the Motor Insurers’ Bureau (MIB) recently revealed the extent of young drivers who are taking to the road without adequate car insurance.

One in five of the younger generation of motorists are neglecting to take out auto insurance before they start driving.

It is important to be alert when using your employees’ car registered and insured under your company’s name. They might get involved in an accident when it is being used for personal errands. If this happens, you will not be entitled to any claims. Business car insurance is supposed to only cover medical damage and damage to property claims when a car is on official business.

The main difference between a business car insurance and a personal insurance is that you can use the latter anytime and anywhere and still be covered. This is not the case when it comes to business auto insurance. You are limited to office hours and trips related to operations of business.

The rate of business car insurance depends on the car usage. Whe
